Situation

After undergoing a major refurbishment, Versace Hotel were looking to upgrade their security system. This 5-star luxury hotel comprising of rooms, apartments, meeting areas and a spa, is used extensively for events and weddings, requiring an intelligent security solution to empower personnel to mitigate, act upon and review any threats or concerns.

Solution

As the preferred partner, Wavestore provided a highly secure system incorporating 1,200 Avigilon cameras into a complete security solution. The project utilised Wavestore’s Linux-based video management system, which was pre-installed on a video server to provide superior recording capabilities. Furthermore, the flexible and scalable storage enabled the hotel to store and manage high quality video data for long periods of time. The open-platform architecture offered increased freedom to build the project from the requirements laid out which vastly out-competes against out of the box solutions.
